About the project
About DegreePilot
DegreePilot helps students and families explore colleges, programs, admissions, published costs, funding, selected curricula, and education pathways—with the source and limits kept visible.
What DegreePilot is
DegreePilot is an independent decision-support product. It brings structured public data and selected official-source research into a consistent experience so families can compare evidence and find the right official next step.
It is not a college, government agency, admissions or financial-aid office, accreditor, licensing authority, or application portal. It does not rank colleges, predict admission, or make eligibility decisions.
How to read the information
Reported
The college submitted the information for the year or period shown. Reported does not necessarily mean currently offered.
Verified
DegreePilot checked the specific statement against the linked official source. Verified does not mean guaranteed.
Current
A current official source identifies the exact item within its stated review period. It does not mean applications are open unless the source says so.
Historical
The information describes a past reporting period or cohort. It provides context, not a prediction for an individual.
What missing information means
- Not reported means the relevant source or dataset did not report the value.
- Not yet verified means DegreePilot has not completed current official-source verification for that item.
Neither label proves that a program, opportunity, requirement, or service does not exist. Missing values are not converted into zero, “no,” or a negative judgment about a college.
Where the information comes from
Major source families currently include:
- the U.S. Department of Education’s Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) for structured institution, program, admission, cost, and financial-aid reporting;
- official college catalogs, admissions offices, bursars, financial-aid offices, and program pages;
- official federal and state student-aid sources; and
- official institutional policy and applicant-guidance pages.
Pages show reporting years, source periods, official links, and last-verified information where available. Curated coverage is intentionally limited to claims DegreePilot can support precisely; it is not universal coverage of every college or program.
Why official confirmation matters
Requirements, deadlines, prices, funding, curricula, and pathways can change. Follow the named official links before applying, enrolling, borrowing, transferring credit, or relying on a requirement.
