Terms of Use

DegreePilot helps students and families research education options. These terms explain what the information can—and cannot—establish.

Informational purpose

DegreePilot is an independent education research and decision-support product. It is not a college, government agency, admissions office, financial-aid office, accreditor, licensing authority, or application portal.

The site organizes reported data and selected information checked against official sources. It is educational information, not a final institutional decision or personalized professional advice.

Information and reporting periods

College, program, admission, cost, aid, curriculum, and pathway information can change. Reported information describes the year or period shown. Historical information is context, not proof of current availability or a prediction about an individual.

“Verified” means DegreePilot checked the particular statement against the linked official source. It does not guarantee that the information will never change or that it applies to every student. Confirm final requirements, dates, costs, and decisions with the responsible institution or authority.

Decisions DegreePilot does not make

DegreePilot does not:

  • guarantee admission or estimate your chance of admission;
  • determine eligibility for financial aid or scholarships;
  • guarantee an award, funding package, or personal net price;
  • determine whether a program satisfies professional licensure rules;
  • make a binding transfer-credit evaluation;
  • provide a personalized degree audit or guaranteed course sequence;
  • provide legal, immigration, or visa advice; or
  • provide personalized financial, tax, or investment advice.

A combined or accelerated pathway does not guarantee admission, shared credits, time savings, lower tuition, or continued undergraduate aid. The institution makes those decisions under its current rules.

Official-source links are provided so you can confirm information and take the next step. External sites control their own content, availability, accessibility, security, and privacy practices. A link does not mean DegreePilot controls or endorses everything on that site.

Reasonable use

Use DegreePilot lawfully and do not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, overload its services, misrepresent its content, or use it to harm other people. Automated use should respect published access controls and service capacity.

Sources, media, and attribution

College and government facts remain attributable to their sources. Photographs and other third-party materials retain the rights and licenses identified on the Photo Credits page or linked source. Public access to DegreePilot does not transfer rights in third-party material.
